Hey I know t hat those silk roses are in and I looked at one and noticed that it was nothing more than a silk rose with a pin backing on it and thought...hey I could make this, but I want to know how could I dye a regular silk rose brown...any ideas? on how to do this?

I know you posted this a few days ago, so maybe you've already found a way to dye them.
If not, you might try tea dying. Use a cream or white colored rose and dip it into some strong tea. Although I'm not sure how well it would dry, you might try taking apart the rose and just dipping the petals in and then letting them dry flat. Aftewards you could put them back onto the little green part again.

I've tried dyeing silk flowers before. I used RIT (a fabric dye), but it didn't turn out well.

I've used the tea "dye" on fabric before but not silk flowers. If you try it...let us know how it turns out! I'm ALWAYS on the lookout for ways to dye silk flowers, particularly brown!

Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers but to be fearless in facing them. Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain, but for the heart to conquer it. Let me not look for allies in life's battlefield but to my own strength.
