The dress and the naughty apron both look pretty good.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments!  I am really glad that you think they fit well and look professional... that is reassuring since I work in film costuming for a living!!!

The longer dress is beautiful. What pattern did you use? And that fabric... LOL ^_^

The pattern is McCalls 4826... and there is a whole topic devoted to versions of this dress.  Just search on here for "4826".

Sadly, this fabric is no longer at Ikea, but it is a great and little known source for cheap, colourful, natural fibre fabrics.

I have made my (rock musician) husband brightly coloured "jeans" from Ikea's "Lenda" upholstery slipcover cottons.  And they have some really cool geometric print sheers...

Now the wintertime is coming,
The windows are filled with frost.
I went to tell everybody,
But I could not get across.
Well, I wanna be your lover, baby,
I don't wanna be your boss.
Don't say I never warned you
When your train gets lost.
