I've posted this in bag challenge 5 and a couple of people suggested I post it here as well.

Quote
My obsession is bags, bags and more bags. I've been wanting to do a bags on bag for
a while and this challenge inspired me to put needle to fabric, and make a start.
It's all hand stitched and I used felt and some vintage fabrics I had. The ribbon rose is hand made as well.
The main part of the bag is 8"W by 5"H.

I do not fear to be alone or to be spurned for another or to leave whatever I have to leave. And I am not afraid to make a mistake, even a great mistake, a lifelong mistake and perhaps as long as eternity too.

Thanks so much everyone.

RealyJL;   At http://www.masterstrokecanada.com/lesson2.html  they show you how to make ribbon roses
the way I make them.  I find it helpful to add a few stitches at the base of the rose as I am rolling  the ribbon
to prevent the whole thing from unravelling.  I hope this helps, and let me know if you have any problems.
