Crafts for Blythe, BJDs and other non-toy toys?

i have only read the 1st 2 pages of the thread, but i REALLY REALLY want this board.  i think we could include action figures, because i have seen a lot of nice customizing work done with action figure bodies (for head-switching).

Eeks, just skipped to pg 11 and found out this was some kind of huge controversy a year ago... eh.  i had no idea. ...  but i still would love to see all the posable/ collector/ custom (whatever) doll things together in one board because... it would just be easier and to find stuff and more fun that way.

I don't think there was/is a controversy at all.  I think everyone just expressed their opinions and some of them were in opposing directions -- no big deal at all!  We appreciate all of the input.

 a specific board dedicated to ABJD's and other collectable dolls would be good, but have you seen the size of den of angels?! it would be massive! especially if those guys new there was a craft board dedicated to them! having all the ideas of clothes and stuff would be good for inspiration though. it would be handy to have it all in one place...

well, i guess i figured now there were going to be more techs working on craftster, one of the things that might become practical could be more/bigger forums.  does it make sense?

hope i'm not being too "vested interest", but on the other hand...
the change of craftster is supposed to be for making more and better things possible, right?, so this is one possible vote for what would constitute more and better things.

I see what you're saying.  More/bigger forums could be considered better things, yes.

Those crafty techs are working on programming new features, test modules, advertising, etc.  I think Leah is still in the seat to approve and implement new boards as usual.

Of course, that makes sense. 
At the risk of being repetitive, I respectfully hope that she would decide yes, and I of course hope that such a board would not become too cumbersome to operate, if it existed.  that's all.

I see I'm a bit late to the conversation.... but I understand what one poster was saying about the "toys, dolls, and playthings" board seeming to be more for plushies and stuffies and such than accessories or more intricate work.  I'd also like to get on the train that is voting for a little bit of organization for the...  miniaturists?  Even a subcategory in the toys forum that is perhaps for everything except the actual doll.
