super blue purse set *lots of images*

so i realized this week that my grandma's birthday is this weekend!  so i made these for her.  the fabric is navy with red and blue flowers embellished with red ribbon.

checkbook holder:

and an insulin pouch.  actually it's not insulin, but some other diabetes related item she keeps with her all the time, but i am not sure what it is called:


i can't wait to give them to her!  i told my mom what i was making and she said that my grandma really needed a new checkbook holder.  and then she hinted that she (my mom) needed one too.  it was really fun to make so i think i will make a bunch more.

that is what it is called!  i gave my grandma these today and she loved them.  and the zipper pouch was just the right size!  whew!
