Hey all! I'm new to DE, well since July so still getting my feet wet up here! I'm actually attending UDel and live on Campus with my two boys! I love to try all types of crafting, but since the move I haven't had the funds or availability to make anything real fun! Mostly helping with school projects, or making my own school projects. I am in the arts conservation program, so I really don't have a lot of free time anymore, but if I do it has to be hands on and messy! I love messy art! Don't ask why, just a lot more fun!

My next project I am thinking about tackling is Christmas ornaments. We don't have any, all in storage and no access to them, so I was thinking a different project a day or week? I have two boys and they had a blast last year when we made them for presents...so why not?!

I just joined the site.  We live in Milford.  Our 11 year old daughter, Emily, has a gift basket business.  The name of her business is Basket Diva.  She started the business May of this year.  She buys all items, puts together the baskets, etc herself. 

We would love to know about all upcoming events around this area.  She will be set up Sat at the North Bowers Fire Hall.

Hi from Pike Creek!

I knit, crochet, sew, and do some light scrapbooking.

There's two great craft stores in the Zingo's shopping center at the intersection of Polly Drummond road and New Linden Hill Road (19711). I DEFINITELY recommend checking these places out! There's a knitting store across from the artisan's bank (same building as Dunkin Donuts) and also a sewer's store! The woman that owns the knitting store is a total dreamboat, and has an INCREDIBLE (and decently priced!!!) selection of yarn. She's got a few couches (for the more sociable knitter) in the middle of the store.

Maybe I'll see some of you New Castle / Newark folks there!
