SOO, my boyfriend LOVES TCM (texas chainsaw massacre) and other slashers, sooo, i was like "I wish i could make him something cool" (you know those crafty moods..of course you do)

WELL, i stayed up from 5am-8am just designing HOW i want to do the sweater. I then came up with this:

I left it on my screen, the next morning reg bout had a frenzy fit, and i got excited. <3

We went shopping for the supplies i needed for this adventure, and he let me use one of his old black sweaters he loves so dearly.

Plan: to make my own stencil, print them and cut them.

Dilema? ..cant find a way to print one big enough for the sweater.
Solution?  FREEHAND IT.
me = SCARED..
what happened you ask:

(no flash)

(close up)

Next to do:
tune up on main paint job.
Get new detail brush and freehand the old english "the saw is family"

Wish me luck?

Referrences:

I am NOT A PAINTER..this is all a lil tracing, and mostly freehand.

comments are welcomed <3

i think ylu're doing a loverly job so far (hah, i originally typed 'so fart') but the way i've done big stencils is to go to paint and cut them into three or so pieces and enlarge each piece the same size.  you lose the quality of the stencil, but the overall shape is good.  but you're doing great!  i can't wait to see what it looks like!

Holy crap, you are the raddest girlfriend alive!  I love how you designed it, it's always just so easy to slap a picture on the front and words on the back but I love when someone does something innovative.
You totally killed it with the freehanding!  Seriously, I know how freakin' hard it can be, especially text.  And I love the quote for the back, it's also an album by Murder by Death.

SOOOO cool, will you date my little brother too?  He would LOVE this, and it's too much work for me to do before christmas Cheesy

If I were you I would stencil the old english writing on the saw.  But that's just me.

I can't WAIT to see this completed!!
