I know a lot of people buy things online via other avenues then paypal, like cash/moneyorder/check etc for the same reason.

Can't you get your parents to sign up to PayPal and use their account?

Fair 'nuff.

It's a major sticky point, and I think you'll lose sales.   Sad  But if you produce a good product, those who really want it will jump over the check/money order hoops to get it.

Just speaking for myself -- and maybe-possibly for some other (ahem!) of us "older folks" too...
I never have used Paypal & never intend to either.
To cite one other example besides etsy : if an 'ebay' seller doesn't accept money orders (I never send checks to anyone/place I don't know either, lol), oh well too bad/ so sad/ fuhgeddaboutit.

I hope I don't annoy you, but you know of this Etsy rule, don't you?
"Anyone over the age of 18 can be a seller on Etsy. If you are under 18, you may do so with the permission of (and under the guidance of) a responsible adult."
I hope you can convince your dad.

i know the rule. he said it was perfectly ok to make the store, and to use his credit card for the 10 cent listings. he said i can use his card or he will getme a bank card for that purpose. i just hope he lets me use paypal!
