Another graphic arts project, to create a book with a creative binding.  I made up the little story and drew/photoshoped all the images, which probally took at least if not more time than the actual pineapple.  It's made out of different size circles of cardboad hot glued together.  The courogated edges were covered up with masking tape and the catches made of matte board scraps.  I then spraypainted the pieces which was fast but made them kind of stick to each other :/.

^Here's the pineaple put together

^The "pages" disassembled.

^And a shot of the little catch system I devised.  You slide the pages from left to right to "turn" the page and right to left when done with that page. The inside of the pages are hollow to allow for this, and I left an opening so you can take them apart.  I love making crafty workarounds for my crazy ideas.

This might be a little off-topic... but what's the story about?  I know it must have something to do with pineapples.

It looks great!
