Pureeva Genius! It is sooo flippin' cute I can't see strait! Do you sketch out what you want before you make your own patterns just to get an idea or how do you do this ? I would love to sit and pick apart your brain just so I could do these kind of things for my daughters!

It depends I guess. Sometimes I am inspired by a doodle I make, or I sit down and draw to try and get an idea for one. Most of the time though it's just something that pops into my head. Like I'll find something like a button or a fabric swatch or something that will inspire me to make an entire amigurumi based on it. Maybe it's the color, maybe it's the way I might use it. There are lots of other things that Im influenced by too - my love of Japanese stationery & toys especially.

Nope. Beth's deer is somewhat different Smiley This was my own pattern, before her book came out
