sooooo cute! is it made all of felt?

edit: is there any chance of an inside shot? or is it just a regular flap top bag-style clutch?

You did a great job with that ! The birdy is adorable.  Smiley This may be a stupid question .. but I was wondering what kind of stitch that is in the brown thread around the perimeter of the clutch. I'm pretty new to sewing, so I don't know too much yet  Undecided

Sooo cute! Great work!

It looks like it might be blanket stich.

What's the inside look like?

I really really really would love to have Interweave Knits Spring 2007 for those Eunny Chang entrelac socks. . . Does anyone want to swap for it?! I have yarn, I can sew, embroider, knit.

slb2724 yeah it is all of felt Smiley

bonbonz101 i think chloeZ is right, because i'm not sure whats it's called but it's super easy to do. we learned it in clothing design in highschool.

Here's the inside it has a little divider and a pocket on the top that is perfect for carrying some cash. It held my 6 cards comfortably, i'm sure it could hold a few more.

I added it to my etsy shop, i was going to make some in different colors but i cut that little birdie free hand i should trace it and make a paper template.

I can confirm, it is indeed a blanket stich. And a very nice, even one at that! Great job.

thanks haha yeah, it takes an extra minute to go slow and make sure you're keeping it even the good thing about the felt is that they stick to each other a bit so that helps hold it straight.

Felt is awesome, and your little clutch is fab.  Sometime you should try using the rayon/wool blend felt they sell on the bolt.  It handles well and is sturdier than craft felt.

Your sweet birdie reminds me of the Partridge Family intro.
