this sounds gross but it is really awesome!! my grandparents were missionaries in Sierra Leone and whenever our family gets together we make this. I made up the veggie version when I stopped eating meat and it's just as good. Smiley

(meat) cook 1 lb roast in crock pot for 5-6 hours with water, curry powder, onions, and garlic
(veggie) in a sauce pan heat 1 can chick peas , 3/4 cup veg broth, onions, curry powder, season salt and a little garlic, thicken with corn starch

serve on rice, top with chopped banana, mango, papaya, mandarin oranges, coconut, peanuts.

trust me, this stuff rules!

Oh that sounds so SO good. I've got this roast just sitting in the freezer taking up room and this is FABULOUS.
