I cleaned out my studio the other day, and found part of this old unfinished project, so I just had to finish it up.  I made this basket by cutting up beer cans and weaving them.  I was afraid that they would be sharp and otherwise hard to work with, but actually they were fine.  I plan to make a few more- maybe using two or three kinds of cans to get a variety of colors and designs.

(ooohhhh, so that's how you insert a picture.  i guess i'm slow, but that was a lot more confusing then i thought it would be Undecided

If I could pick one word to describe myself, it would probably be Fluffy Puff Marshamallows... or Homestar. Either one, really.  They both fit.

Yea, I would love to know how you got the edges to not be really sharp.  I love aluminum but am always afraid of how sharp it can be.  Cool job!
