eh..my garden is...well..garden variety..boring.
The most eventful thing that happened was that I had broccoli...but I have already picked it all. The tomatos are coming along though.
I will just have to watch I think.

crap....

i was all excited about the contest and was SO going to enter, but after seeing the pictures of the contestants in the competition already... it would be laughable for me to enter. my garden is in a total functional mode. and it's not pretty. of course, i think it's totally beautiful and i love it. it's my child. in a couple months, hopefully, it'll look fantastic. the vegetables will be BURSTING, son! so... maybe later.

I'm in between gardens at this point, because I just bought a new house, but I was going to enter pix of my tiny "garden" from my last house. I know I can't compete against the gardens already entered, but I still would like to see photos of everyone's efforts. IMHO all gardens are beautiful.

When is it too late to apply?  I have a cool garden, but I am having trouble getting pics.  My camera only works when hooked up to my comp.  Trying to fix that.

You said it, snacker!

I love seeing everyone's garden. It's a lot of love that goes into it. Some like them neat and trim, others like them overgrown and wild. Some of us have large country gardens and some have balconies. They are all so lovely!

I personally am a "stuffer" - I stick plants everywhere and just call it a cottage garden because it's all heights, all colors and no theme. My dad was the oddball in suburbia in that he got rid of every speck of grass and covered his entire yard in plants, flowers and ornamental grasses. And a great big pond.

I have a city/urban garden with a tiny hillside in front that gets full sun. It would be great if it was flat because I have to stand with my rear in the air balancing on the slope to weed or plant. My neighbors laugh and call me "the mountain gardnerer". And my back yard is mostly a hillside but full shade. So I am learning all about Japanese gardening with the textures and colors.

So, post your photos - even if it is not to win. You'll still inspire us all!
