Has anyone prepared or spun stinging nettle? I've prepared flax in school last year and I've read that it should be about the same process for nettles. But when should I pick them? When they are young or a bit older? And can I pick them this year and leave them to dry until next year? I'm moving into an apartment soon and I think it will be pretty hard to handle a retting process there...

Will swap for a DIY handmade paper kit!
