that stuff is so cute i want to learn how to knit, it looks hard...

It's not too hard at all once you get the hang of it! It took me about 2 or 3 days to make that scarf (it was my first EVER knitting project!)

I really liked http://www.knittinghelp.com/ because it has step by step videos! Try it out! Grin

As soon as I saw what caffeinatedair made (the little guys!), I recognized them from geetargeek's Myspace profile! So cute!!

Ughhh, I still haven't sent out yet and I hope my partner doesn't hate me! I've ran into some money probs, but everything's fine now. I plan on sending off my package to offnlalaland54 tomorrow!!! I know she's been crazy busy lately, she's moving into a new house! So I'm hoping that's going great and not too stressful! Cheesy Anyway, I LOVE the pictures everyone's posting of their packages! Everyone did a really good job!

I just got my package from Trinniedoo yesterday and it is FABULOUS!!  She made me two adorable fabric purses, a decoupaged wooden purse with pin-up ladies (I think it was decoupaged), plus she sent along some adorable sewing stationary!  I will have to borrow my parents' camera to get photos, but I hope to post some soon!

Grin You're so welcome (I think...) Haha! I was always so intimidated by knitting before, but I was thinking "if she loves knitting THAT much... I think I can try!" I've always been more of a crocheter myself, and I had to teach myself that too because everyone I knew couldn't figure out how to teach a lefty!

And I bet I can figure out how happy you are! I was sooo excited when one of my good friends was interested in learning how to crochet from me!

(And besides, I think only a knitter can truly appreciate someone else's first knitting project!  Cheesy)

RaeAmazon, I'm glad you like everything...yeah, the wooden purse is decoupaged...my first!  as soon as i read "pinups" on your profile, i knew exactly what to do.  so technically, i popped my "decoupage cherry" on you, hope that's okay!  HAHAH

Whooo! I got my package from teraspawn yesterday - THANK YOU! She got me an awesome stencilled t-shirt (somehow, from my myspace, she was able to tell I was vegan... I have no idea how...), a homemade book of vegan recipes and health information on being vegan, fizzling bath salts (MMM!), my NAME WRAPPED IN WIRE (I'm amazed, it's so cool!) and a cute-as paisley ribbon. Here's the pics!

Excuse my retarded face. I wore the t-shirt to a pub crawl last night and got oh-so-many hugs! Grin

The book, ribbon, bath salts and my name.

Awesomeness!
