the stuffing packet says "fibre stuffing for toys & cushion"
hope that helps!
and you don't need a hot glue gun. i used a strong clear glue. UHU brand but I'm not sure if it's available in the states?

This are the easiest thing to make....My girl scout troop made a bunch by hand to take a nursing home that we were doing quilting at with the elderly.
Yours are so much cuter than ours were though.
We did not do the ribbon like you did. I think that was a great idea on your part.
We added a small peice of elastic so they could be worn as rings and a larger peice to some so that could be worn around the wrist.
You did a fantastic job on yours and I am sure your sewing friends will be so happy  Grin
Thanks for sharing and bringing up a great old memory for me

I do the same thing to mine, to wear as a ring.  I also make a strip of fabric to go around the outside edge, to make it look like a flower Smiley

That is a neat idea too!
I guess we were just generic with ours...we even left it on the bottem where you could see the brand of drink  Wink

Great idea with the wrist bands. I think I'll make on like that for a pincushion swap that I am participating in. Thank you for the inspiration. Those in the picture are really cute!

i had to make these for my sewing class at school but we poked two holes in the bottle cap and tied a piece of elastic through the two so we could wear them on our fingers as a ring while working  Grin
