I had some fun today playing with paper, felt, ribbon and the sewing machine:
(the scanner takes all the life out of the color)

the following were my practice cards:

I plan on selling the winter ones at a Christmas Fair that I'm doing, hopefully my sewing skills will improve as I go along!

Those are really cute! I especcially like the bottom mitten one, something about the color scheme and the torn paper. I agree with kozzmicgirl, the not quite perfect lines gives it that special "homemade" touch that a lot of people pay money for! So good job!!  Wink

Gah. Those are exquisite; very homemade, yet proffessional looking. Like the kind of thing you would buy in a really chic botique. You must be some kind of card creating genius. I've been racking my brain for cute christmas card ideas... guess what all my friends will be recieving in the mail! Grin

here are some that are a little different

I sewed a message onto these using narrow ribbon with winter messages pre-printed on.

Yep, that's all I did Rumble. I get everything where I want it on a piece of contrasting paper and stitch around it, then I zigzag stitch that piece of paper onto a blank card. I do it this way so that if i botch it, I don't waste an entire card..... I learned this the hard way.
