Shocked You know what's really cool?? I don't know if anyone else has thought of or mentioned this,  but this is a great way to turn a gauge swatch into something you can wear! Of course, you'll have to make two instead of one, but still.. very nice!  Smiley

I made these mitts with your pattern

I also added pockets:

Needles:Same as used for mitts
Gauge: Same as mitts
Yarn: Same as mitts

CO 11 stitches. Knit for however long you want the pockets to be minus about 3/4 in. in stockinette. Knit two rows garter stitch. Knit 5, yo, k2tog, K rem. 5. Do one more garter row. BO. Sew to mitt and do second pocet the same. Add buttons.

The mitts+the pockets took about 1 oz of canon bliss yarn.

Here's the post I posted the other furry green things I made (hat and scarf) http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=50629.msg467581#msg467581

Those are adorable! They are a lot more than "kind of" cute.

Those gloves do indeed rock! I'm going to have to make a pair of my own. I just know they'll help on the colder days when I'm going to be doing a lot of typing. (My wrists get bad pretty easily these days.)

These are mine that I made for my bro with Bernat Camoflage Yarn. I used garter stitch.
