Can you believe this?? i made a pair of these for a gf who works in a very cold office & her hands freeze.  She's being wearing them at work & now i have ppl wanting them. Shocked i have been making them in all different stitches. i.e. moss stitch, ribbed, etc...i have made them a little longer so they are pretty close to the knuckle. i'm thinking of making some for my dad who spends his summer months fishing. i think these would be a great gift for him. I also knit mine on dpn's, which i think makes them a little quicker to make.. having fun.. Scream-a-little Grin

Here's mine...

Next time I'm going to put eyelets around the top and bottom and string a skinny ribbon through. I love them though, for typing at work where it's so cold in the morning!

for those who crochet and do not knit- you can emulate the knit stitch using tunisan crochet (crochet on a long afghan needle thingie) this pic here: is one of the doggie sweaters i used to make using tunisan crochet- if you look, you can't really tell the difference unless you see the back! and it's super simple!
