Hello!  Smiley

Today I went to the Milford Arts & Crafts festival and came across a both run by the Milford Fine Arts Council Firehouse Art Gallery. They had large, gallon size bags of many different beautiful fabrics for only $2 each! And if you bought 5 bags (like I did), each bag became $1 each! In total, I got over 15 swatches of fabric that was at least 17"x17" (some were 27"x27") for a mere 5 bucks. These fabrics are perfect for pillows, purses, quilting, etc.

The volunteer manning the booth told me that they sell these "fabric sacks" at the gallery, so if anyone lives in the area, I suggest going to buy some!

Yikes.. it was at a craft fair and I never took a flyer to see where they were permanently located. My only suggestion would be to google Milford Art Gallery or check the yellow pages!

Firehouse Gallery is on the left, 81 Naugatuck Avenue.

I think it's only open noon to 5, Thursday, Friday and Saturday:

From I-95 North or South take Exit 34 (Devon-Rte1)
Right off the exit onto Rte 1 South
Go 3 traffic lights to Naugauk Ave.
Left onto Naugatuck Avenue
Follow Naugatuck Avenue to near end, at traffic light.
