Thanks, devilninny ! I will be doing swaps again after baby's born and we have settled into a routine. I really love to make these.  Wink

catpants , one can never have, or make, too many earrings!! Grin

RubyTuesday--- yes, they are made on wire. I used some 28Ga glavanized steel wire from the hardware dept., not floral wire, for these. It is thin enough to make more than one pass through the beads, yet holds its shape extremely well. You could use 26Ga floral wire, but it might be a little harder to pull the beads tightly into place. I have done it, but it just is a bit harder to get nice results on really small stuff like earrings.

I like the pink flowers, too. I was noodling around with my wire, and came up with those. I wish I could've figured out a way to make beaded hamster earrings, in the likeness of catpants' avatar---that would've been fun! I think his name is Karl?  Smiley

received my necklace from captainriley on wednesday, school has been time consuming this week so i've finally got around to posting a pic here in the galley.

it's not a closeup because i was selling some clothes on ebay and just happened to be wearing it, and my camera is down, etc. you know how the cheapo 3.1 mg goes, so volia that's the pic that by far doesn't do this gorgeous piece justice.

thanks again captainriley!!! Smiley

Some extremely late photos of the bag and skirt I got from ClassContrarian

The bag

It's not that great a picture, the bag is a utterly gorgeous messenger bag. It is the perfect size for all my bits and pieces  Smiley

Circle skirt made out of some really pretty fabric

And me wearing it

I wist upon a star <3

I am disappearing into hospital until atleast  mid-late October, so PMs will be very late in getting answered.

Today I recieved a HUGE pile of wonderful fabrics from Whiskey. This picture does not begin to do it justice, because she sent so many different awesome pieces.

And not only did she spoil me with all that fabric, she also made a beautiful cuddly blanket for baby Ian. Here he is, at two and a half weeks old, with his new blankie:

Thank you, Whiskey! I love everything! You ROCK! Grin

Whiskey, that blankie you made is too cute.

LaughingLark, the only thing cuter than that blankie is the boy under it;) Congratulations

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.
