Hello there in the Weaving world! I'm a curious Knitter with a few questions.

1) Has anyone here tried Stick Weaving? I've seen kits for sale, but I can't find any websites about it. It looks interesting but the finished projects look rather loose. Like if they would fall apart if I look at them the wrong way. As anyone tried these?

2) My mother used to crochet, but her joints have been acting up a lot. I saw an add here on the site for a butterfly loom. Has anyone here tried those?

I've not tried Stick Weaving, but I've used something similar to the Butterfly loom, mostly to make placemats.  If you'd like to see how to use them, check out (you'll need to click on the link to instructions):
