I made one (from some very old stash black acrylic and white Lamb's Pride) and I love him:

(On my front porch with leaf and pinecone)

Cheesy OH YAY!!  thank you so much for sharing a picture of your Jack!!! Cheesy  This is the first original pattern I felt worthy to share, so I'm so excited that you liked it too... I'd like to write about it on my blog, if you don't mind of course.  I'm glad the I-cord was a success for you, he really turned out great!! He's got a great face too!!  I'm so proud!

 Cheesy la-di-da-di-da!!!!

Here's mine.  Pattern is slightly altered.  On 2.5 mm dpns + size 10 crochet thread.  He was lots of fun!  Thanks so much for sharing the pattern! Cheesy

That's awesome!  What did you use for his hands?  I sort of felt bad for leaving him without hands on the pattern, but I couldn't think of a good way of making them...I love your mini-Jack!! Cheesy

Thanks.  Smiley  It's just crochet thread cut in small lengths and tied together to form fingers.  Crochet thread is a bit on the stiff side, so it holds together pretty well.  You might be able to stiffen up regular yarn with some sort of fabric stiffener.

Ooh, the white hands on Jessbaby's Jack are so-o cute and ghastly!

Sunshyne, of course, feel free to post or link to post (he's also on my blog). I have a feeling I'll be making another one (for me, hee  Grin) since this first one is going to a nephew.

What a great couple they make. Morticia Adams move over.

That's the best Barbie pic I've seen in a long time. I'm inspired now ... gothic barbies.

I also like the way she can actually grasp the scarf....so cool...like she's posessed or something.  Tongue

I think I'm addicted to making these.  Grin  Jack and his mini-me:

His head & torso are about 1.5 inches tall - with legs, he's about 3 inches.  I'd be happy to post the pattern for the wee one if anyone else is masochistic interested.
