Firstly I would like to thank 'gloriana' & 'SewPixie' for their inspiring tutorials on messenger bags and putting in zips.

ok woke up at 6.15am this morning (sat) inspire to make somethng with the really gorgeous piece of purple corderoy - so after a few quick sketches and measurements i made this...

with a stiched piece i finished years ago but never found a home for....

and a pocket detail...

the lining was some fabric my husband bought me a few years ago which i loved.

Whatch think?

-----
PS After packing for work I realised that my cool new bag was to small to hold everything AND my packed lunch, so I made this to add on when I need to carry a bit more. It perfectly fits a large water bottle or 2 rolls. Luck that i had enough fabric leftover to do this and matching buttons in a smaller size too.

The stitched piece is amazing, and it looks like you found a perfect home for it! Great job!

I love it. The fabric inside sure is sweet, too. Nice work.

All it takes is a new bag to make a girl smile, and one smile can change the world.
