I'm getting bored, but I'm willing myself to just finish! I'm almost finished with the left front, after that I have to make one more sleeve and the right front and then I can assemble and make the button band and hood. It's cooling down here, so I'm trying to use the fact that I can wear it soon as motivation to just freaking finish already!  Smiley

I love that red hoodie!

I started mine about 3 times yesterday and kept getting mixed up.  I'm knitting mine all in one piece and am confused about the directions to start and end the right side row with 2 purls..from the KAL website.  I should have known better to start a new project with my 2 kidlets running around.  I'll try again tonight and just hope it works out...it's just ribbing and I'm not too picky.  I thought about doing it in all the pieces but I jsut hate seaming, so I think it will be worth it if I can figure out the one piece part!

Thanks for all the compliments, guys!
I love this sweater; it's seriously the perfect fall, kicking leaves through the park, kind of sweater.

I even picked up some nice buttons made of some weird nut (i forget... it started with a C Huh) Who knew they would have a knitting store in Nantucket!?  Grin

I'm about 1" in at the moment...but it would be irresponsible to continue (don't drink and knit, right?). I'm using Malabrigo in the Olive color - LOVE it!

An entire cardigan in Malbrigo!? You are so very lucky! This is a really quick knit, you're going to fly through it. I can't wait to see it!

Here's my progress (did a little last night and then today) - I'm very pleased with my first attempt at cables:

It's actually a darker color than in the pics, but that's what you get with bad lighting...hehe. I hope to finish the back tonight, but we'll see. And Im loving the Malabrigo..!!!

Oh, and I now have a supervisor....(right above my knitting chair);

You know, every so often I'll have a cat (I have 2) pounce on me/the yarn/the measureing tape. The measuring tape is very popular. I just shooed the one in the pic off my blocking board, too... It's like they sense what you DON'T want them getting into...ack! Well, at least they're not eating my yarn....yet.... Wink

Almost done with the back now...hee!
