I made my friend a pair of armwarmers for her birthday. I haven't given them to her yet, plus, I only have one made lol. But yeah. I didn't really have any stretchy fabric, so I made do with what I had and decided to do a lace-up style one.

lol yeah! They are great for going out in but if im drunk i will get all claustrphobic and panic so i might try and make mine with a zip on the other side! I love them Im gonna try and make some right now!

Those are awesome. I'd love to wear that kinda stuff, but I really don't think I could pull the look off. I guess you would say I have vintage/punk/slacker style. Whatever taht is. That's great work you've done, though.

very nice!  I'll have to try that.  I aways find neat fabrics that would be great for cuffs, but they're not strechy.  I never thought of doing flat lacing like that.   Cheesy

may i ask how did u attatch the blue thread or lace or whatever it is called???

because i am thinking of making a halter neck top and i want to use those clips that u use on ur bra.
but if u hvae used another technique then i might try that

she made little loops out of the ribbon for lacing it up. is cheaper than grommets ^_^
