OKAY!!! I watch HGTV.  Some of their stuff is RIDICULOUS....... but then on occasion you're like, hey, that has potential

THIS is the mother of all "tute" sites.  Be WARNED.  Very non-ironic, awful stuff up there.  But then, there are some basic techniques and some things that are workable.  There are instructions for hundreds of things from woodworking to beadworking, quilting to knitting, sewing & altering.... yadda yadda yadda.  Everyone needs a good place to find some you know, back-to-basics instructions.  This could help someone!  Or maybe I need help!

(The green menu on the left hand side of the page kind of.... expands, so there are lots of topics, even though this "base" page may look sparse.  There is much to be found in the annals of HGTV.com!)

lol... ironic is right!  But yeah there really is a wholllle lotta stuff there...
Thing is, sometimes it's unnecessarily tough to find (even via search -- which tends to be kinda cranky, gotta be real specific I guess -- & sometimes 'still' you gotta sift through 'a bunch' of unrelated items)...
and, often there isn't "complete-enough" info on a project to make sense or to be of any use (unless one is a totally-instinctive topnotch crackerjack crafter.. which alas I'm not!) ...
Nevertheless I agree -- it's always worth a shot.
