I'm starting my own business selling crochet patterns for shawls, scarves, ponchos, handbags etc...  I heard you say that you were having trouble with Stitchdiva's pattern.

As a teacher and fellow crocheter, if the directions had been written out in two different ways, might that have helped?  I mean, if you had one copy of the directions that had step-by-step pictures that lead you through the beginning phase of the project, and one set of directions with no pictures that would be intended, let's say because you wanted just a quick print out or something, would that have helped?

I'm asking this question for anyone and all.  I'm devising my "template" for all my patterns now.  I plan on including EVERYTHING I can to make it amongst the best piece of instructional material(s) I've ever created.    [I'm giggling now because I'm thinking to myself, "I want to run a tight ship here!"]   I want everyone to be successful and FEEL successful when downloading my patterns.

If anyone wants to throw out a suggestion that would help, that would be great.  I anticipate bringing crochet patterns to the Next Level.

have you ever seen a magic crochet magazine? they do diagrams that i find veeery helpful with some of the more advanced patterns.  they look like they'd be pretty easy to draw out too.
