So when I was 10 I was in a band with Jeff Mangum of "Neutral Milk Hotel" and my best friend. All we did was scream and make up nonsense, but we were very cool.
Anyway, here we are!
Jeff's is the big one.- note the "Jeff men" on his pants!
I'm the pink one.
My best friend is the purple one.
Here is a picture of Jeff

so cute!

You know Jeff Magnum? *bows down to worship you*

Neutral Milk Hotel' 'In the Aeroplane Over the Sea' is possibly the bestest thing ever to happen on the planet, ever. Since the dawn of all creation. Jeff is actually subject to a cult following here at Oxford University (Elephant Six Collective too, but principally Jeff Magnum himself).

*goes to reattach jaw*

hey!
yeah i was in a band with jeff... well maybe it was a band, i'm not sure... we just sat around one day a sang random words in to a microphone a banged on pots and pans, it was all record so somewhere its on a cd that says "monkey punk" and i made t-shirts, so yeah i was in a band with jeff for like a month lol... someday (like when i'm twenty) me and jeff think we'll have a reunion tour and we'll play all of the big stadiums, while just screaming about santa catching on fire, frogs swimming in pasta and how they get those holes in swiss cheese !!!!!!!!!! well maybe we'll just play my basement Grin
well that was all quite ridiculous!

wait what? when you're 20? jeff is old now - avery island came out in 96 if i remember correctly (which would mean you were 4 if you're 14 like your profile says). are you just making this up?

so you were 10? weird. i donno if you'd call that a band, but, you must know people in order to hang with a mega-elusive old dude like jeff.

i live in athens and all this is true, so I really doubt tnt is making the rest up.  who would make up being in an obscure band, even if it was with jeff mangum?  incidentally, we probably have met or at least seen each other around tnt, I used to live down the street from jeff and ring up his groceries at the daily!
