I've finished the seed stitch around the neck, so all I have left to do is the edging for the arms.  I just had a midterm today, so hopefully I'll have more time to finish this soon.   Cheesy

I finished this a bit ago.  I used about 6 skeins of Berroco Denim Silk.

Sorry about the cross-post (I posted in Fishished Objects already) but I just found this KAL.

Looks great!!! How'd the denim silk work out for you? I'm using the same yarn in charcoal.

Skillj, that looks awesome! How was the denim silk to knit with? I posted pictures of my progress on my blog with my sister, Two Black Sheep. I think the reason that I like to knit items with some stitch pattern or more shaping is because of the row after row of boring stockinette (which is where I am at right now). The anniversary came and went, but we aren't going to dinner until next weekend so I have time.

That is definitely a sizzling Sizzle Shocked Grin

I'm a bit bummed out Sad  I had almost finished the back, and decided to just make sure that it was the right size, only to find out that instead of being 44 inches across it was 46 under the arm shaping.  Eeep.  Given that I'm already knitting up a size that I was a bit worried might be too big, that is def no good.  I did have gauge when I did a swatch, so something has gone wrong somewhere :/  I'm thinking I'll reswatch on smaller needles, and maybe also drop a size down...  Bit poo though after I was just about to start the shoulders Sad  Stupid me, but I suppose I wouldn't know it would be too big till the end of the bust increases anyway.

I'm ready to do the split at the neck and I was wondering about the decrease. Would a K2tog and ssk combo work (provided I have them right) or does it matter since there will be a round of seed stitch?

I did k2tog on the left side and ssk on the right side.  (reverse from the body decreases)

I need to finish my Sizzle.  She's been sitting around untouched for days.

I'm not sure what to make of this. On one hand, I am a grown-up who is wearing this with either her husband or girlfriends on a cruise. On the other hand, I am a teacher. I still am not happy with the length but understand better what a very low neckline means.
