I think that's very flattering, greenchick!  you can wear it by itself when you're away from the schoolkids and with a tank top underneath when you think you might run into them.  the color looks like the one I'm making -- love it!

Yowza! That is a low neckline! I say rock it on the cruise. PLUS--it looks like you haven't added the seed stitch neckline yet, which may bring it in to a less drastic neckline!!

Well this sucks.   I finished the seed stitching on the sleeves yesterday but didn't try it on today.  It's too tight.  Sad  I guess I need to undo it and add more stitches and/or bind off much more loosely.

Okay, the seed stitch is done and Sizzle is over. I will take pictures on the cruise and post them when I get back. I wound up binding off using a size nine because I was paranoid that the armholes would be too tight. The good news is that with the seed stitch, I can wear my normal bra and not the "Here, you look like you need a place to rest your drink" variety. I almost wish that I would have added an additional three to the three that I put in. I think once I get back from the cruise, I might pick up around the bottom and add three (or four) more inches of seed stitch.

I finished my front piece last night!  I connected the shoulders and just have to do the seed stitch finishing and sew the thing together.  shockingly, it looks like it's going to fit and I think I might even have enough yarn to finish it!

I'm done!

I love it! I used Shine Sport and it is so soft and wonderful to work with. All in all I would say success!

I took 11 (!) pictures in all. All sorts of angles and details on my blog (emileee23.blogspot.com).

I noticed the neck is not as deep as I expected, but it's very much work-friendly now so I guess that's a good thing!

I really like yours BeginnerKnitter! That color is great!
I meant to finish my Sizzle while I was at my parent's this week, but I forgot to pack more yarn. *mutter*

Thanks Caribou!

I was beginning to think that I smell a little or something because it seems like everytime I post in this knitalong a dead silence follows. Seriously, you can hear the crickets!

I'm putting Sizzle to bed. Officially, she is done; unofficially, I still have to add the inches to make it long enough for me to be comfortable in it. I will probably get around to that near Christmas.

And with the hat at the top, you really can't see the seed stitch around the neckline.
