PS - I still put stitch markers every 20 stitches when I have to cast on any number above fifty. That way, I only have to count the twenty stitches between each marker and then take them off as I work the first row.
I do the exact same thing.  It really helps keep track of the numbers.

I've seamed it and I've started the seed stitch on the neck, but I've had to take a break from it..  too much Sizzle in the past two weeks.  It does fit quite well, though I wish it were a tad bit longer.  That's kind of strange because I'm a petite person and things are usually too long in the torso.  Maybe it's because my gauge was smaller.   I'll post photos when it's completely done, hopefully this week.

I'm also experiencing a little sizzle overload, and I'm still only about 10 inches along on the back piece!  I took a break by working on some other projects.  I'm really looking forward to seeing photos of others' finished sizzles!

I actually had pain in my left hand from holding the needles . . . I think that I knit for six hours straight one day (moving from chair to chair when one got too hot - stupid heat wave). The hubbo is actually the reason for the stitch markers as he has a really bad habit of beginning a conversation when I am casting on and/or counting. I am so glad that I added the extra 3.5 inches so that it is long enough. The back will be done this morning and I will cast on the front this afternoon. I have until August 2nd to get this finished as it is my 15th anniversary.

if only my brain worked well enough to figure out such simple obvious things.  thank you for the tip i will definetly be using this in the future.  I was using sevens and my gauge ended up being like 20 st= 4.5" so i went down to the 6's and it looks much better.  not too far in just because i was a little too a.d.d. to knit this weekend.  I could only focus on one thing and That was pretty much sleeping.  I was a real bum this weekend.  But I did get the seed st done and i'm a few rows in so i'll be starting on the decreases soon.

I finished the back of mine (I put up a picture yesterday on my blog--don't want to post it here as well and eat up space). This is a very quick knit for me. I mean I'm not going to finish it in two days, but I may be able to finish it in two weeks!

Is everyone doing theres in two pieces or did anyone end up working on circs?

What kind of yarn did you use, briteros? I was trying to decide if a verigated would look good, but I decided against it (used Elann's Esprit in a dark teal). I think I am a little burnt out on this project, but I have to be done in about three days, one of which will be spent in a car.

The yarn I'm using is a silk yarn called "pure and simple" by tilli thomas (purchased at www.pureknits.com). It's gorgeous and oh so subtly variagated that it's not overpowering.

greenchick... keep plugging away at it, I know you can finish it Smiley  I'd love to see a progress pic if you have one  Grin

Briteros yours looks great.  I'm not normally a big fan of the varigated yarns but I really like yours.  Good job...

As for me I'm way behind.  I haven't been able to knit in a week.  I didn't even get to look at it all weekend.  I'm trying to knit as much as possible at work today and maybe I'll get a little done tomorrow.  I'll post some progress pics soon.  I'm bout to start the second round of increases on the back.  Very slow progress but I love the look so far.  I'm half way wondering if I should rip it out and knit a size smaller.  it looks a little big right now but that may be wishful thinking.  I think I'm gonna stick with it though.  Just can't bear the thought of starting over when I'm so far in.  How's the rest of the gang doin???

I have to look for my digi cam . . . I think I left it at my sister's house, or it could be in my bag. I have the back done and the decreases done on the front. I think that I finished one of the increases before I packed it in last night. It is almost too hot to knit here, but I have to make some headway on it soon. I'll post pics tomorrow (if I can't find, I will steal my daughter's).
