I had an extra-large beatles tee with the "winter" shot from the cover of Beatles '65
I adored the shirt, but I couldn't wear it anywhere nice.
So, combined with a tube top I got at Walmart years and years ago, I made a kimono top:

Detail of Paul looking up at me :p

George is my favorite Cool

Brilliant! It's totally original, I was looking for something to do with my old Yellow Submarine t-shirt!

I cannot bear to take scissors to any of my beatles shirts, even though I have like 14 of them (seriously, I do). I am too afraid to make the big ones smaller incase some day I gain weight and regret not leaving them big. I mainly let my BF wear the big ones Smiley

Now the wintertime is coming,
The windows are filled with frost.
I went to tell everybody,
But I could not get across.
Well, I wanna be your lover, baby,
I don't wanna be your boss.
Don't say I never warned you
When your train gets lost.

That is a great way to use a T that you want to split up the image or only part of it is usable. I love the tube top bottom. Great idea. Very ingenious. I'd love to try this with other non-beatles tops, too.

I think it's great too! The Beatles will forever rock and George is my favorite too! I mean, have you hear Here Comes The Sun? Genius (the song and the top).
