I have smaller hands with a 6" wrist, so it sounds like the concensus is to use size 4 needles.  Should I really omit one set of cables, though?

I have midgety hands (wrists are 5.25") used 4mm needles (size 6?) and did the recommended number of cables, and they fit nicely. Then again, I do suspect I am the world's tightest knitter, and I like my gloves with a bit of space (my ribbing doesn't stretch out at all when I wear them), so if you wanted them snugger I think it'd be a good idea to do away with one of the cables!

Well, I bought a skein of the Cashmerino Aran in Black as a treat to myself (my first yarn treat in eons!) and I am doing these magic loop. I am going to try to do them at the same time... wish me luck!!!

Here's my progress since I cast on at 7:30pm:

My hands are tired, but I will carry on! I want to have these finished by Monday. I abandoned the idea of doing them at the same time- too much trouble for my addled brain  Cheesy Next time maybe.

Hi, I'm Amanda =]

I'm just getting back into this, but if any pictures are missing, let me know. Photobucket hates me.

I used a hank of Debbie Bliss Maya from my stash for this, fab stashbusting project! I love it so much I can't wait till it gets colder so that I can wear it everyday.

My friend asked for "a" long armwarmer for her b'day present, so I just tweaked the pattern a bit, and I got this.

Emms, I finished mine last night, but was too lazy to take a pic and post it, I already cast on last night a second one, but didn't have a chance to work on it yet. Voila, in Lamb's Pride Worsted in Orchid Pink. Love em =) I have a winter coat of the same color, so it's perfect.
