Nice!

I finished mine (1-a-day!) - I impressed myself, since this was my FIRST EVER DPN knit (I'm very proud). I'm taking pics tomorrow, and they haven't been blocked yet. One strange thing is that the second one turned out shorter than the first (even though I did everything the same) - we'll see if blocking can't make up for that (I hope). Grin

I used elann's Peruvian Sierra Aran in Mallard on size 6 dpns
I'm quite happy with how they turned out Smiley
I will be using the same yarn for my Rogue Sweater now that I've learned how to do cables  Grin

I started this project... uhm... last weekend?  If this were a normal knitalong I'd officially join or whatever, but most of you seem to go so quickly! It took me three days to make one, but maybe that is because it is my first knitting project ever (I'd been taught to knit before, but i've only ever made a lumpy rectangle before this). I'm impressed at how easy it was! I'm hooked! Not only will I make another (haha.. the right hand) but I think I'll make a pair for my sister-in-law for Christmas.

I honestly thought there was more magic that went into making cables.

I used black Peaches & Creme and size 3 dpns and it came out just the perfect size. The yarn isn't the softest in the world (very utilitarian, I'd say) so for my next pair I think I'll find something softer.

Thanks for everyone who suggested changes.

Cheesy Grin Cheesy  That is EXACTLY how I felt when I first learned how to cable!

I've made two pairs so far (haven't posted pictures yet, though Roll Eyes ) and have five pairs requested from non-knitters who've seen them.  (Eek.)  I really like the pattern myself, but I was surprised at how much other, non-yarny types like it as well!
