gloriana-check back in a few months.  i'm only about a quarter of the way done.  i'm also using it to practice continental knitting, which will probably add a month to my estimated time of completion!  Smiley

just to let you guys know, i tried to knit the edible underwear last night and i could not for the life of me get the licorice to stop breaking, fresh out of the package.  i even almost finished the front, and then one little licorice piece decided it hated me, broke, and i got an unraveled row of licorice.  i ate them in frustration.  grrrr.

**update**- i tried the undies again with new licorice.  it still broke.  dammit.

i started lolita legs, just cause it was from the boogerblog (and since i knit a LOT in public, i like to do stuff thats somewhat, umm....appropriate, lol!) one of ,my favs. but they were too big even in a dec size and on size 1 needles O.o so i ripped it out after i had ~ 6 inches of the leg done.

you can do increases up the leg instead, just make sure to inc 2 stitches at a time so you can still k2g Smiley

Why can't puffins eat pancakes instead?

I'd tried to make the edible undies, too... but I didn't even get to the knitting part. I got frustrated and quit when the licorice kept snapping while I was trying to pull it apart.
Also, I made the thong from "Betty." It turned out cute, but VERY small. It does, however, make a lovely bonnet for my dachshund.  Cheesy

Glad to be of service Smiley I'd put up a picture, but, alas, I have no digital camera.
I'm working on another thong, but this time I'm making the pattern up as I go along. I'm using a pair I already have as a model, and following the de/increases appropriately. It's coming out quite nicely. Though... I'm not sure why I'm so obsessed with this- I hate thongs.
