Skunkey, The Skunk Sock Monkey

My creative sock monkey isn't so much inspired by a specific person, but by an animal. Theres a skunk that is constantly lurking in our yard and fiddling through our trash. We once watched the little guy untie a bacg of trash, take what he wanted and leave, without making a mess. I decided that this skunk was inspiration-worthy, or atleast worthy enough to be a sock monkey.

HAHA, I didn't even notice the garbage looting part until I looked back at the page just now. That is so awesome- if I was a furry woodland creature I would definitely take part in garbage looting!

I can't even imagine never having seen a skunk.  We have whole families living out here in backwoods Maine.  Grr.  Don't let kittens outside at night when they're around - they eat them.  I found that out the hard way.   Oh, and tomato juice does NOT get the smell out. lol

On the other hand, I would totally let my kittens around your sock skunky, GrandTheftUno, because he's so sweet I bet he wouldn't hurt a fly.  I love him!  Great job, and very creative idea!

Thanks for the wonderful words everyone! The stripe is made out of a mohair sock that I hated because it felt funny. I dont know why I ever bought a second pair.
