I'm sending you a pm today. I want in! Do you think it's okay to share the non-private, swap specific parts of the questionnaires? I'm curious how other spinners answer these questions. No biggie though.

Thanks so much for organizing this!

I so want in in this, but I'm pretty much a newbie at spinning, and I wouldn't want to disappoint anyone who is a super expert or anything. Will you be matching up skill levels?

Actually, I was thinking of matching up wants and skills.  I looove bumpy handspun yarn, but have trouble spinning anything bulky or thick the way beginners do.  So, I figured I'd partner up people that way.  Maybe I should put that on the list - whether or not the person wants a new or intermediate or experienced spinner for their partner?

this sounds really appealing, but i'm so intimidated! i have to spin on a drop spindle (no wheel yet) and my joins kind of suck....some of it's really good though! I'll have to sign up, someone will love my yarn, right? it's preeeeetty...

See, we hate our own mistakes but love other people's "funky" yarns. I loooove other people's handspun.  Everyone does, I think Wink

i THINK i'll be able to do it ... i'm signing the lease for my new apartment this weekend, then moving all of my large things the LAST week of this month, but maybe in that week in between i'll have some time to dye and card. i really want to because i was one of THOSE people who kept wanting a handspun swap   Wink

i'll probably sign up at the last minute.
