I received some amazing artwork from taciturn for my mini-gallery (that I need to start hanging soon!).

It was hand silk screened by taciturn and her husband- it's the definition of bird from dictionary with a bird over the top (can HP fans tell which Harry Potter character it's based on?).

I really want to learn to silk screen now as this is amazing!  Thanks taciturn, I love it.

oh wow.....that's an awesome stencil!  I need to learn to screen print too...there are endless possibilities for ultra cool shtuff.  I love the words in the background, it adds such a fantastic detail!

Is it supposed to be the snitch with a beak? Smiley

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

My hubby collects hot sauces and it's pretty hard to find them up here in Canada so for this swap I thought I would see if anyone would help me collect some for him.  Tofuttibreak, way down in Texas, picked that wish and they made it undamaged.

When I was opening the package, he happened to walk into the kitchen and asked what I was doing.  I told him it was stuff from a craft swap and it was actually something for him.  He gave me this strange look but as soon as I started unrolling one of the bottles, I think he figured out what it might be.

The first one I opened was a clear liquid with chili peppers and garlic floating in it and to say he was thrilled would be an understatement.  Then I opened 2 more!  He was so pleased and couldn't believe that I had done that for him.  So, enough rambling - here's the picture:

THANKS tofuttibreak for helping me make my hubby happy!

If you are looking for more of those hot sauces I am sure we have some unusual ones here in Alabama.... hint hint!
That clear one looks great - I will have to look for that one.

My husband likes Melinda's XXX - which has been really hard for me to find - then one day we were in Walmart together and he saw the hotsauce pitiful section and got all excited - a jar with liquid the same color as Melinda's and sure enough - carrot based hot sauce!  He went wild - and even wilder when he tried it and it is the same thing - and the bottling address was the same - Melinda's apparantly bottled it for Walmart and it was like half the price!  I will have to check the name of the bottle - but it is his absolute favorite hot sauce - and who would have thought to look at the weird walmart stuff - I had been all over the place looking for it in every grocery and mexican grocery store I could find... and there it was down the road at Walmart!

I think that Dreamland sells there rib sauce......  they are suppose to be the best ribs around here - at least the most famous!

What a neat thing to get in a swap!  Hot sauce!

Yesterday I received 4 wonderful, bright crochet squares from Obsessed.

The picture doesn't do them justice - they are much brighter in 'real life.'

Thanks! Obsessed, they are a great addition to my afghan.
