Fun fur has some really good uses. It works really well for knit stuffies and for trim on things- when used tastefully! But I agree whole garments made of it seem really tacky- but personally I think if people like it, then more power to them. It's still yarn and it's still knitting, I think it's ridiculous to be all traditionalist about something that should be creative and fun.

yeah.  i suppose.  i guess i just have a bias against it thanks to last year's christmas of untangling fun fur from everything.  its not fun in anyway.

Since there was some interest in a better shot of mpicky's cherry blossom earrings I took the opportunity to go for sunlight AND flash. Enjoy!

so i just took a picture of myself wearing the gorgeous embroidered shirt from kittykill (which, um, i've been wearing since last night) but after i uploaded the picture i noticed that i'm sporting some intense cleavage sweat!  it was definitely distracting from her embroidery, so i'll have to take another picture later  Cheesy  that's what i get for mopping the house before taking a photo!

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection
