Last night I made some christmas cards, going back to pre-school! They were really fun to make. I just melted some crayon wax shavings inbetween two peices of wax paper (make sure to put a cloth over top of it) held it for a few seconds, and voila! abstract art cards.

I then sewed the wax paper to construction paper, and added a few little embellishments.

I hope the pics look OK!

those are beautiful.
one september i collected changing leaves (i live way up north, and they change in september) and pressed them between sheets of waxed paper to hang all over the walls.  i never thought of using crayons.
