(First off I apologize for ALL the pictures, I went picture crazy.)

When we think of sock monkeys we think, aw cute little monkeys with cute little hats and cute little button eyes! Well, sometimes... I dont!

There are many different kinds of zombies in the world, flesh eating, brain chewing, or your average 9-5 office worker ( heh) I took inspiration in making this little guy while watching Dawn of the Dead, and keeping Shawn of the dead in my mind. I thought, hmm, some of these guys look like they came right from work! and so came:

Steve, the disgruntled office worker Sock monkey Zombie!

This isnt the first zombie Ive made, I sometimes sell them here and there on my site when I have time to make them, but with Steve I took extra care to make him extra zombied! When I make regular sock monkeys I end up with scraps of socks that I just cant let myself throw away! so one day I decided to make something with all the left over monkey parts, and I thought by George, how about a sock zombie!

and now here are the details to Steve!

everything down to the limbs and clothes was carefully HAND sewn!

It took about a day to make him off and on, I take pride and joy in all the little details, some of his limbs are hanging off and have little red meaty parts showing( dont be worried Steve was not harmed, he is a zombie duh! Cheesy)

in this picture you can see Steve actually has 2 tails now! his first one accidentally got cut off in a zombie brawl so he just found another tail and stitched it on himself! That is why all his parts are different colors...he got them from other monkeys eek!

here are the rest of the pictures of Steve the Zombie,  If you want to check out more photos that aren't thumbnails, check out this flickr link to more pictures :-D

This is so disgusting, but I think that's what you were going for, so good job!  It makes me think of Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
