I have some Red Heart that is that exact group of colors, but I don't want to insult you by guessing that that's what it is  Embarrassed

Even if it isn't, I absolutely LOVE that colorway (red heart or otherwise) and I'm really sad that red heart discontinued it, because I was totally thinking of making this same sweater out of it (they have it on eBay for like $3 a skein, which, plus shipping, is too expensive for red heart, in my opinion).

Yours looks beautiful, by the way.

You won't insult me--you're right! Cheesy I agree--lovely color.  They discontinued it?!

I found it at Meijer (Midwest US chain store)! Maybe I need to make my way back....  It was $2.17/skein!

That is a beautiful color!

Even if it has a bad rep, Red Heart = Machine Washable

Take that, fiber snobs! Tongue

If it lives in the water or flies in the air, I'm in love with it. In New Zealand I saw a flying fish and almost wet myself.

Yeah, but are they anywhere near as inexpensive as Red Heart?

Yeah, I got it and then right after I got the one skein, I couldn't find it in stores anymore!  You're so lucky.  I've never been to Meijer (I think you need a card for it?) since my family is has a Costco card.

No, no card necessary to shop at Meijer. Smiley

Update on SKB # 2 (the first one will sadly have to be frogged and re-knit at some point). Knit in Tilli Tomas Aspen & Flurries, scored from Little Knits (does anyone else love their discounts, or what?!):

I had this yarn all over my livingroom one day (courtesy of the cats' nightly raid), and you can see how the cat(s) love expensive yarn... Roll Eyes

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and hope someone can help me.  I've just read 71 pages and seen loads of completed SKBs with no one posing this question so clearly I'm alone in being this dim!
When the pattern calls for 24" circular and DPN needles do you really need both?  Can you use circular needles for the whole thing (I haven't used them before which is probably adding to the confusion!)
Also wondering if anyone had ever knitted it very much longer in length and made a dress?
Hoping that someone is still knitting this pattern as the posts on the forums all seem a couple of years old now.
Many thanks
Carol
