I have been waiting for this pattern for a few weeks. The long sleeve is yummy!

http://www.stitchdiva.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=SDS-026

I was wondering if anyone would like to start a knit along? The yarn used looks gorgeous, but I will have to see about the price. I am finishing my 1st Charlotte, I say that like I will make another...LOL

I'd be up to joining for a late summer start if there is interest.

That is beautiful. I want to join when the pattern is available, but I am sure I'll have to find a yarn sub... I think those yarns are rather expensive, although probably well worth it, but still out of my budget. I'm definitely going to do this one.

Count me in.  This sweater is gorgeous!  I have a huge list of must-knits but I will push them all aside for this one.
I doubt I'll be using the yarns suggest.  Not that I don't want to....they look amazing!  But I agree,  a bit too pricey and not very practical being 100% silk.  I was thinking maybe some kind of bamboo.  I'm currently knitting the Vogue side tie vest in Eden Madil Bamboo and absolutely love it.  The drapeyness of the bamboo would be great for this stitch diva pattern.
I forgot to check the gauge of their recommended yarn.  I'll have to look that up.

How do yall think a cotton or cotton blend would work? Or a rayon blend?

A cotton or cotton blend should work just fine so long as you have the correct gauge.
What a great sweater! I saw it and thought "Oh, my...maybe I could rock that..."
Cheesy I'd definitely have to wear something under there, though.
As much as I'd like to, I can't roll like that.  Wink

This pattern is amazing, I love it soooooo much. I was looking at knitpick's "main line" as a sub. The whole "100% silk" isn't really my thing, or my price range. I like the idea of bamboo, though.

oh la la
that is gorgeous.  I looked at the first photo and thought, "I love the body, but not the sleeve" and then I saw the second photo..  the longer sleeve is so lovely.
Maybe once I've finished some other things.  oy  I always say that.

I think I might have to frog my sad excuse for a badly-fitting Knit and Tonic Somewhat Cowl and give this a shot.  The long-sleeve is lovely!

ooh, i can't wait for the pattern!  i really like the short sleeve version.
i haven't been able to find any prices on the suggested yarn, but i'm guessing it will be pretty expensive to make.

i might have to start seeking yarn for this soon!
