I hope this works (I've never done this before...)

Here's my cell phone kitty. I knitted her over the weekend because I got a new cell phone!

My design ended up being more of a purse than a SnBNation "monster"... here it is! I'm so proud- my first finished object that's not a scarf!

Here's my phone cozy. I have a Sidekick 2 so it's long.  My next project will be an ipod cozy.
Sorry for the crappy phone cam pic.

in addition to being my first non-scarf knit piece, this cell cozy was also the first thing that i actually knit for me! all previous projects ended up becoming gifts for others, so this special piece of orange fuzziness was finally something made just for myself! this is my first attempt at posting pictures. i hope it works!

this is an openview

and here's a close up of the button

although it looks pretty white in this pic, the inner portion of the flower is a lovely seafoam type colour. sounds gross, but is actually quite pretty in real life.

Oh, Ive forgotten how to make button holes! For those of you who knit your cozy with a windo so you can see the screen how did you do that? I know its a knitting basic, but its late and my brain is tired. Help me out please.

to make button holes, knit to where you want the hole, bind off the desired number of stitches for the width of the hole.  continue knitting (or purling, whatever) that row.  on the next row, when you get to the gap from the bound-off stitches, simply cost on the same number as you bound off.  finish the row

i hope that makes sense
