It's really an ipod cozy but I guess it could work on a cell phone too:

Here's a simple cellphone cozie that I made with ribbon yarn in garter stitch. I made a bunch of these as gifts - they're so quick to make! The pattern is taken from Knitting Pretty by Kris Percival.

I loved all the cozies I saw on here so I just had to make my own.  It's pretty simple and plain.
I knit it in stokinette stitch on CDN size 12s (that's US size 2). I held two different yarns together so, you can't tell in the picture, but it has a nice sheen to it.  Then I just sewed a fake flower to the front.  I'm all about the fake flowers lately, I sewed some onto a scarf as well.

I made a felted phone cozy for my sister for christmas. It turned out awesome. My only problem now is that I lost the pattern! boo hooo!! I'm so upset. It came off of a ball of Bernat Lana Wool. If anybody knows of it, can you let me know?? My house cant take anymore turning upside down! If I can find the pattern, I'm going to make another one, but instead of the handle I'm going to make it with a button in the front and a "fold over". I think that sounds right. umm, i dont know how to post a picture!! help!! Actually, I have a picture of it posted on my blog.......www.squi rrlyknits.blogspot. com

Check it out!

Made one last night, or sort of. I now know you didn't use size 8 needles. No loss I made a tampon case out of mine (you know, for when the kitty is sick as my husband says). I is very cute and now I will actually have one with me all the time.
