I have just been so busy and on vacation but I finally have some pics of the knitted items that redpopsicles sent to me!!  I wanted a hat and she did a little stalking to find out that red is my favorite color!!  The yarn is so soft and CHUNKY--yeah!!  The added flower was a bonus and makes the hat so cute!!  It will go perfectly with the new coat I plan on getting (red, of course!).


This was a real sweet surprise--SLIPPERS!!  Yeah, it is freaking hot out but I love these so much, especially in the evenings in the air condition!!  Hubby won't let me wear them to bed, but they are quite comfortable--my feet are not different sizes or weird--it is just a bad pic of feet, ha ha!

I received bunches of crochet flowers from crafty_deb in another swap so I am planning on sewing on snaps so I can add different embellishments!!  So black was PERFECT!!


Redpopsicles also sent me a one skein wonder--it looks weird to take a pic of it flat so as soon as I can get hubby to take a pic of me wearing it, I will post it!!  It is a lovely forest green and tan--

I am working on adjusting sizing on redpopsicles top that I made--she has been so patient while I went off on vacation but I am making it up to her by sending another sewn item!! hee hee

Awesome partner and so fun to sew for--thanks for the knitted goodies--I promised that I would take up knitting by the end of summer, so I have a few more weeks--ha ha!!

... And, OMG, looky at what I recieved from Avian Flight!  She made me an extra goody, a wall-hanging needle case.  Here it is closed (sorta, you have to see the lining...):

AHHH--I love those colors and I am so jealous of your needle roll (I want one even though I just started knitting--YAY!)  Thanks for opening it up--we who sew love to see the linings!! ha ha
