Hey everyone,

Every brand new topic on Craftster gets a topic number. So the first topic ever posted was topic 1 and the hundredth was topic 100, etc. Then when you need a link to a topic it looks like this:

http:// www. craftster. org/forum/index.php? topic=100.0

A few weeks ago something went wonky and the software jumped way up in topic numbers by 16,639,985!!! So for example a topic that should have been given number 99,027 was given 16,739,012.

I finally got one of the developers of the software Craftster uses to fix this. So now all these wonky topics have the proper numbers.

Now here's the rub...
Anyone who posted a link to one of these really high topic numbers, those links aren't going to work anymore. Sad Boo! Totally sucky I know. I'm going to try to find clever way to deal with all these bad links. And failing that I'll try to fix 'em all by hand.

Sorry to make you all confuzzled!  Tongue

Leah

would us deleting the old bookmark and re bookmarking fix things from our end?

I think the wonkyness has broken several of the recently added Featured Projects links.

They all work on my end.  Which ones in particular are broken?  Or maybe they have since been fixed...

I was wondering about this. Who cares? Craftster still works and you're working hard on Crafster. As long as you're not broken, then I'm okay.
