My cat always thinks that blankets I make are for him, so I decided to make one just for him.    I put an actual size picture of him on the blanket so he can tell it's his! 

I fused the flannel cat onto the orange fabric.  I'm hoping it stays attached, since I don't want to sew around it.

He loves sleeping on his new blanket, but it isn't keeping him from sleeping on my other blankets.

Now, an action shot!  He's a very creative sleeper.

That's just excellent!! Did you trace him?? And did he allow you to trace him in that position?? I have 2 orange cats, hurray for orange cats! I am *so* wisting this when I get home!

lol.  My cat would never let me trace him.  I got his outline from that picture using photoshop and then blew it up to actual size.  (He's also seriously afraid of rulers and yard sticks, so I had to get his length by measuring the pillow he had been laying on...)

My plan was to stitch the details on when I stitched around the cat, but I got a little lazy and a little worried I would mess it up.  I should really do that, though.  It would add a lot of cuteness.

btw, he's sleeping on it while I'm writing this.  His own idea.
